What is Business VoIP?

Business VoIP is a cloud-based phone service that lets you make and receive calls using an internet connection instead of traditional phone lines. It includes advanced features like call routing, voicemail-to-email, conferencing, and more.

What do I need to get started?

All you need is a stable internet connection, a VoIP-compatible device (desk phone, softphone, or mobile app from OLYS), and a subscription with OLYS Telecom.

Can I keep my existing business number?

Yes. Number porting is available. You can keep your existing phone number/s. There is a small porting fee of £30 + VAT/ Per Port, although most of our packages include free porting. 

Can I use Business VoIP remotely?

Yes. Our VoIP system is perfect for remote and hybrid teams. Staff can make and receive business calls from anywhere using our mobile or desktop apps, just like they would in the office.

How long does it take to set up Business VoIP?

Setup is typically completed within 1–2 working days. If number porting is involved, it may take 5–10 days, but you can still make and receive calls during the process.

Can I use my existing VoIP phones?

Yes, if they are compatible. Email us at support@olys.co.uk with your model for confirmation.

Calling & Features

Can I make international calls?

International calls are billed separately unless included in a custom add-on. You can also upgrade to World Deals for bundled international minutes.

Can I make emergency calls (999/112)?

Yes. Emergency services are supported, but you must activate this feature as a £2/ per number / month add-on.

What happens when I exceed my call minutes?

Once you exceed your monthly inclusive minutes, additional calls are charged at our standard low per-minute rates. You can view detailed rates in your customer portal or request from Sales Team.

Do you support fax-to-email or voicemail-to-email?

Voicemail-to-email is included in all plans. Fax-to-email is available as an add-on feature—contact support for setup.

Is there support for international numbers?

Yes. You can purchase international numbers in 60+ countries across all plans. These can be separately purchased as an add-on to your system.

Is call recording available?

Available from the Standard Plan onwards.

Devices & Applications

Do I need to buy a desk phone?

No. All plans support BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). VoIP apps for desktop and mobile are included. Optional Wi-Fi desk phones are available to purchase.

Can I use my own VoIP handset?

Yes, but compatibility must be confirmed. Contact support@olys.co.uk to check your device model.

Is a phone included with any plan?

Phones are not included by default. However, Premium or Enterprise plans may be eligible for device bundles on contract basis or custom hardware offers.

What platforms is the OLYS VoIP App available on?

The OLYS VoIP app is available on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS—giving you seamless communication across mobile and desktop devices.

Does OLYS VoIP integrate with CRM systems?

Yes, our Premium and Enterprise plans include CRM integration capabilities. OLYS VoIP can connect with popular CRM platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, and more, enabling features like click-to-call, automatic call logging, and screen pop-ups for incoming calls—streamlining your sales and support workflows.

Is video calling supported?

While the core service is voice-focused, some devices and apps support video calling internally. For full video conferencing, we recommend integrating with third-party platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams (available on Premium & Enterprise).

Billing & Contracts

Is there a contract required?

OLYS offers both flexible and contract-based options depending on your needs. Most plans are billed monthly with no long-term commitment, ideal for businesses that prefer flexibility. However, certain packages—especially those that include hardware—may come with a 24-month contract to cover the cost of the device.

Can I upgrade my plan anytime?

Yes, you can scale up your plan and user count as your business grows.

How will I be billed?

Billing is processed monthly in advance, and invoices are emailed to the account holder. You can also view and download all billing history from your online portal.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, if you're on a monthly plan with no contract, you can cancel with 30 days' notice. For contract-based plans, early termination fees may apply depending on the remaining duration of the term.

What payment methods do we accept?

We offer secure payments through Stripe, accepting all major debit and credit cards for your convenience and safety.

How do I receive and manage my invoices?

Invoices are sent automatically via email each billing cycle. You can also access, download, and print all your past and current invoices anytime through your secure online account portal, making expense tracking and accounting effortless.
